Wanted-President Of The United States

Wanted-President Of The United States

I am sick and tired of turning on the TV everyday, to find out what is going on in my country, which just happens to be the United States of America.

I tune in to listen to the man who should know:

The President.

However, instead of hearing about the excessive price of gasoline, the exploding unemployment rate, the racial tensions that exist in our country, the poor condition of the stock market, the mortgage crises, the many unfortunate people who have lost their houses and or their utilities, the thousands of lives that have been sacrificed in Iraq, and the fact that overall, our country is in one of the worst conditions in recent history, mentally, physically, psychologically, spiritually and financially.

I listen intently for the president to discuss these issues, and to propose steps to resolve them.

However, 95% of the time, all I am hearing about is how great the people of Iraq are doing, how free they are, how good their economy has become as a result of our involvement there, and how appreciative the people of Iraq are for the work that we have done to make sure that they live in a free and democratic society with a strong healthy economy.

That’s all well and good, but right here in America, we have a lot of people who are not doing so great.

We are slowly but surely having many of our personal freedoms taken away under the guise of national security, our economy is past a recession heading for depression, and many of our people are not very appreciative about the fact that our president has decided to protect our country by destroying it, by shipping all of our resources overseas to Iraq, to participate in a civil war that has very little to do with the original cover story as to why we are there in the first place.

And now we have a clone waiting in the wings to duplicate this madness, and to repackage, and resell the same product to the American people. The same product that many Americans who were sleep have purchased for the last 8 years.

Do not be fooled by the new marketing campaign.

The republicans are offering the same product repackaged to fool you.

This package is designed to fool the majority of Americans, and to benefit only the chosen few, who thrive as a result of these types idiotic of policies.
Iraq already has 3 presidents; one who governs from Iraq, one who governs from Washington, DC, and one who is waiting in the wings to see that the people of Iraq have all of the benefits and freedoms that we as Americans are losing.

We need a president of the United States of America

Vote For: Barack Obama-Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

I Miss You Tim

I Miss You Tim

Tim Russert 1950-2008

This is a tribute to Tim Russert, who crossed over on Friday June 13th, 2008.

Good Morning Tim:

It’s Sunday, and I miss you already.

I am sorry to hear that your time was u p on Friday June 13th. 2008.

I am sorry that you will not be here to share Father’s Day with your father and your son.

I am sorry that your son will have to rely on the positive lessons that you transferred to him during the time that you’ve had together, instead of having you right by his side.

I am sorry that your wife will no longer have the benefit of a loving, caring, and supportive husband.

I am sorry that your elderly father, who means so much to you, and whom you mean so much to, will have to find a way to cope with the loss of his “Little Russ”.

I am sorry for the fact that many of your professional associates, who just happened to also be your good friends, will no longer have the benefit of your caring, concern, and support.

And it just seems so unfair that you did not get to see the outcome of an election that you were so excited and thrilled about. And, I am sorry about that.

And for me personally, I did not know you personally; but I feel like I did.

Whenever I needed to understand something about what was happening in the world of politics, and how it affected me, I knew that I could always get the answers on Sunday Morning at 11:00AM, on NBC.

I want to thank you for being a good example of how to rise to the top, and yet, not be out of reach of the people who loved and needed you.

Thank you for reminding us, that we should always remember where we came from, no matter where we may find ourselves in life.

Thank you for teaching me about the true nature of politics, and how the cover story is rarely the truth of the matter.

Thank you for teaching me to not just accept what I am told, but to dig deep, and investigate the subject at hand, in order to discern fact from fiction.

Thank you for showing me that there are still people in this world who care about their family members, parents, wives, kids, their communities, what is right, what is wrong, fixing it, and helping people to become the best that they can, both personally and professionally.

Thank you for the help that you gave to so many people regardless of their race, creed, color, or the point from which they started. If they asked, and were willing to do the necessary work, you helped them.

That quality is becoming a rarity in today’s world.
I am sorry that you had to go.

But I am grateful for the legacy that you leave behind.

Because Tim, for the rest of my life I know, “If it’s Sunday, it’s meet the press”.

And I will remember that meet the press is you, no matter who is next to host the show.

Thank you Tim Russert for the many contributions you have made, towards making this world a better place for one and all.

Thank You Senator Obama!

First of all, we thank GOD for calling you to risk it all, in order to work towards making positive change, and American History, at the same time.

Thank you for bringing tears to my eyes on Super Tuesday June 3rd. 2008, when you became the first Major Party, African American, Official Nominee for the President of the United States of America.

Thank you for accomplishing a feat that was considered impossible for a Black Man, while, appropriately representing African Americans.

Thank you for starting your campaign as a qualified candidate, and not a Black Candidate.

Thank you for your successful efforts to bring people of all races, creeds, colors, educational backgrounds and incomes together for the purpose of solving the many problems that can only be solved by us all.

Thank you for the dignity, and the respect that you showed throughout this campaign; even when you were not treated with dignity and respect by your competitor or her supporters.

Thank you for not caving into the Right Wing Media’s attempt at making your past associations a major issue in this campaign, for the purpose of maintaining the Status Quo.

Thank you for all of the hope that you have given to the people of this country.

Thank you for continuing in the race, even when you were supposedly failing because of mysterious people who had the power to pull you down.

Thank you for connecting with the spirit within yourself to help you move foward in your quest to become President of The United States of America.

Thank you for allowing me to witness something that I thought that I would never live to see: A Black Man as the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America.

And, Thank you for making your campaign about the people of this country, and not about you.

With the help of GOD, your supporters, and the fair-minded people of this country of all races, you will be blessed with the responsibility of bringing this country together as one, and helping it’s people fix all of the currently existing problems together.
Thank you Senator, Obama.

The Unchangeable Hillary Clinton Supporters Ingnore Them And Move On

Today, 72 hours after the confirmed nomination of Senator Barack Obama, Senator Hillary Clinton, (after an excessive amount of political pressure from her democratic pears), has finally suspended her campaign, and endorsed Barack Obama.

Now I understand how politically correct Barack Obama has to be, and I understand how politically correct that other politicians, and members of the media have to be on the road to the White House.

However, I am not running for White House, and I do not have to be.

All I feel compelled to do is to speak the truth as I see it, without damaging my candidate.

I say that to say this: In the coming months, because of the nature of racism in this country, you are going to continue to hear about these powerful “White Blue Collar Workers”, that are going to have a major negative influence on Barack Obama’s bid for the White House.

This type of fictional campaign, is one of the “Right Wing Conservative Media’s most powerful weapons against people who make uninformed decisions about politicians without studying what is behind the statements of the politicians and the media coverage that we are exposed to.

So I am asking all of you to base your actions and decisions in the coming months on knowledge of the issues and the candidates, and not on what the media, especially that “Right Wing Conservative Media”, (who clearly explains their agenda, by the name that they use to identify themselves), “Conservatives”. Which indicates no change, even if it is a change for the better that benefits the majority of American.

Please recognize that, if it were up to “The Conservatives”, then Black Americans would still be slaves, because these people’s goals are to keep things the same, and to ignore progress that is beneficial to all people across the board.

And that goes for all of the “Black Conservatives” too, just in case you think that I am being racist.

I don’t know how far you want to go back, but please be careful not to find yourself too far back.

That painful, deadly, journey is just too difficult for us to make again.

For the millions of woman who were voting for Hillary Clinton as part of the” Feminist Movement”, I respect you, and I hope that you did this after searching your souls, to make sure that she was the best candidate to take America to a higher level, and not just because she is a woman.

I myself did not want to vote for anyone of the presidential candidates, because overall, I have not seen very many instances where a politician has come through on their election campaign promises.

And, I personally have not received effective assistance from any of the politicians that I requested help from, with the many incidences of racism and discrimination that I have experience while trying to get assistance in matters of business, or in health care.

And I find this to be equally true of politicians black or white.

But when I began to listen closely to them all, Barack Obama was the one that spoke the loudest to me, about where he would like to take this nation as whole.

And the dirty sneaky, evil, mean and despicable acts, words, and attitudes that she and her husband, (The First Black President), inserted into this campaign, killed my support for her. Not because she was white, not because she was a woman, but because she showed very little, if any respect for Barack Obama, the democratic party, or the people of the United States.

Her and President Clinton played every card that they could, including “The Race Card”, against a man who has never ran on anything having to do with race. Then you tried to smear him with the people close to him that did.

So let’s do a reality check, right here, and right now.

Many of Hillary Clinton’s supporters were once Ronald Reagan supporters, and many of Hillary Clinton’s supporters come from communities where hatred for African Americans, and other minorities, is just a way of life.

These are the people, who were booing today when Senator Clinton was speaking highly of Barack Obama, (for a change), at her concession speech.

And these are the same people who were making threatening remarks to the many news reporters today, as they exited the building, talking about” He better had put her on the ticket or else”. Guess what? He doesn’t better have to do shit that you say. You showed your ignorance at the democratic decision on Michigan and Florida, and you, (you know who the hell you are), showed it again today at Hillary’s concession speech.

And we all need to keep the fact in mind, that if GOD Himself, came down and said: “ I will end the world if all of you do not vote for Barack Obama for president; then we would all have to pray for the salvation of our souls, because the world would certainly end.

So the next time you hear this bullshit about Barack Obama has to do this or do that to reach them. Please don’t blame Barack Obama for not being able to reach people who are unreachable.

This is what they want you to believe, so that you can loose focus and support for Barack Obama.

So when you began to hear this bullshit again, (and you will hear this and a lot more); please just ignore them and move on.

Thanks to all of the faithful supporters of Barack Obama.

America’s Bar Set Low For Politician Ethics, Behaviors, And Standards

I’ve always recognized the fact that the American Public suffers with extreme short-term memory, and a very high tolerance for the bullshit that politicians have been getting away with for hundreds of years.

They make promises they know they cannot keep.

They lie and try to present themselves to the public as sinless demigods.

They use their offices for personal gains as opposed to for the benefit of the people.

And when they finally get caught, their associates with power help them escape just punishment.

However, all of this really struck me hard as a result of the political contest between Senator Barack Obama, and Senator Hillary Clinton.

I have been amazed at how people are saying how gracious Barack Obama was on the night of his victory, in spite of the fact that his closest competitor did not want to acknowledge his success.

The fact of the matter is, that Senator Barack Obama has always been nothing but a gentleman and a friend to Hillary Clinton, even when she was constantly disrespecting and insulting him unjustly and dishonestly.

He did not just start conducting his self as a decent human being on the night of his victory. He has been this way from the beginning to the end, And in the end, Senator Clinton, still chose to totally disrespect and dishonor this man and his accomplishments while speaking about how proud she is to have him as a friend.

And the day after the election, the number of people who complimented Hillary Clinton on the excellent, hard fought campaign that she had run overwhelmed me. Even the victim of her male bashing, (Barack Obama), was complementing her on such a great campaign.

And then it hit me again!

Bullshit is the acceptable norm for politicians in this country, which is the reason why everybody speaks about how much they are going to accomplish once they are elected, and then the problems usually only get worse. And at this point their primary function is no longer to help the people who put them in office, but, just to be elected and then be reelected. This is when they forget about and abandon all of the plans that they had to fix the country’s problems.

And you know what?

Some of these people get a chance to continue in office year after year after year. And that has to be because of our forgetfulness and our tolerance for the pain and misery they create by not doing the job for which they were hired.

How soon we forget that:

Hillary Clinton lied about the many widespread calls that she had been receiving, requesting that she drop out of the race.

Minimized the importance of Martin Luther King Jr. to the Civil Rights Movement

Lied about landing in Bosnia under fire

Insisting that Michigan votes would not count, and then calling those who would not count them, wrong for not doing so

Pledged that she would not campaign in Florida, and then called the people who stuck to the rules slave masters, and sexist.

Planted a misleading photo of Osama Bin Laden in one of her early anti Obama ads

Praised FOX News; even though they were insinuating that she was a murderer

Accepting Richard Melon Scaff’s endorsement and then laughing as you explained his deathbed conversion

Quoting the editorial predictions of Carl Rove

Approved the misleading 3:00Am Ad

Allowed Campaign Staff Person, President Clinton to compare the Obama Candidacy to the candidacy of Jessie Jackson

Allowed another Campaign Staff Person, Geraldine Ferraro to make the comment on National Radio, that Barack Obama would not have made it as far as he did, if he were not black.
This was a racist statement because it was designed to strip him of his validity as a candidate.

She created and disseminated lies and contradictions about the math that would make her the nominee.
Implied that the only states that were important in the primaries were the states that she was winning; to hell with everybody else

Exploited the actions of Jeremiah Wright as actions approved and supported by Barack Obama

Distorted the nature of Barack Obama’s relationship with Bill Ayers

Insinuated that good hard working white people were voting for her, and not Obama

Praising Senator McCain to her detriment, the detriment of Barack Obama, and the detriment of the Democratic Party

And last and certainly not least, was the Freudian slip that uncovered her desire to see Barack Obama assassinated in June, like Bobby Kennedy was.

And she is proud to be friends with Senator Obama.

If the American people consider this to be a fine hard fought campaign, then American made need to re-examine what they consider to be positive verses that which they consider to be negative.

Because of her actions I think that she does not deserve to be Senator Obama’s Vice President. I also believe that she should never run again for President of the Untied States, unless she genuinely raises her standards, or America lowers theirs further.

************************************************************************
When was the last time you, or somebody you know, compared what your candidates promised during their campaigns, with what they actually delivered once in office???The answers may surprise you, and is the main reason that the problems that they have promised to solve year after year, have not only not been solved, but are now problems of epidemic proportions. Hell No Hillary!-This Aint All About You

Last night American History was made; (using the standard system of delegates and super delegates for choosing the Democratic Nominee), America selected its first African American, Major Party, Presidential Nominee: Barack Obama.
Everyone who has a basic knowledge of the electoral system, knows that at this point, the election is over for Hillary Clinton; everyone except Hillary Clinton that is.

This is just another example of the sense of entitlement that Michael Pfleger spoke about, which got him suspended for 2 weeks, even though his portrayal of her is absolutely true, as evidenced by her negative behaviors, throughout her primary run.

Actually, as far as I, and many other Obama supporters, many frustrated Clinton supporters, and just sensible people in general are concerned, we feel that the portrayal of Hillary by Pfleger was mild compared to how she has really behaved during this democratic primary And how she continues to misbehave in a manner that is disrespectful of Obama.

Last night she said that she was proud to call Barack Obama her friend.

Well Hillary, with friends like you, who needs enemies?

Hillary started disrespecting this man at the beginning of this election process, and now continues to disrespect this man even though he is now the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States of America.
He was chosen by the same method that her husband Bill Clinton was chosen by.

Senator Obama, has followed the rules, accepted responsibility for his shortcomings and mistakes, and has been very successful in his bid for the nomination.

At all times, he has been nothing but a gentleman to her, even though there were many situations where he should have not let her get away with the evil that she displayed throughout this campaign.

He was also selected by the same method that has been employed to nominate the Democratic Nominees for many decades now, and now she really thinks that the system that was good enough for the purpose of making her husband Bill President, is not good enough for making Barack Obama President.

I don't think that is how it should or will go down Hillary.

I also think that it is low class to try and twist the arm of the new Democratic Presidential Nominee, by using your 18 million followers, (these number are also in question), to send you a message telling you what they want you to do.

Why pretend?

You are waiting for your ignorant, uninformed followers, to tell you what you have already told yourself: "Who cares if we cause disruption and further division, possibly rendering the democratic party ineffective at defeating John McCain in November".

Or, " that it is alright for you to try and force your way into the VP Position on Obama's, ticket, after your total disregard for him as a human being, a man, and a Presidential Candidate.

If you are wondering why I call her people followers and not supporters; it's because anyone who is still on board with her madness today, June 4, 2008-after the nominee has been chosen, must be a follower, and not a supporter, because they clearly have been brain washed into thinking that Hillary is entitled to change every rule, ruling, decision, or selection method of the nominee, is just as delusional as she is.

It is important to note that the last time delegates faced a contested nomination was in 1960, (48 years ago), when John F. Kennedy faced Lyndon B. Johnson and
Adlai Stevenson. And now she thinks herself so great that she should be entitled to initiate such an undertaking just because she wants to.

I guess Senator. Clinton could not make history by becoming the first woman nominated for President of the United states, and now I guess she is trying to base her claim to fame on totally ignoring what is good for the country, totally ignoring what is good for the democratic party, totally ignoring the rulings made by the democratic leadership, and for breaking all of the rules and wreaking havoc throughout the country, causing the party to become hopelessly divided; all for the benefit of one Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Well I guess you are off to a great start on fulfilling your promise to do whatever it takes to make sure that the Democrats take the Whitehouse back in November.

Yes it would be very nice if your followers would agree to vote for Barack Obama, since you lost the primary election. Yes Hillary! You lost.

But if you have surrounded yourself with people who would rather vote for McCain, or not at all, at the risk of having their husbands, wives, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors shipped home in a box, because they are fighting a war that should not have ever started in the first place, then you all deserve each other, and you all should get what you deserve.

And you want to be Vice President Hillary? - On the ticket with this man who you have dishonored and disrespected at the beginning, middle, and now the end of the campaign.

Hell No Hillary!

This Aint All About You.
