There I was taking a break from the Dark Realities of Racism and how much it has infiltrated our Political System with Potentially Disastrous Results, enjoying one of the most fantastic first round playoffs that I have ever seen, and then; (not that I was looking for it); it jumped out at me while I was just trying to unwind and let go by enjoying the camaraderie that exists between the Brotherhood known as the NBA, where (for the most part), race is not an issue-A place where people from all points of the globe come together as a team to accomplish one common goal…..to win a highly competitive athletic event.
And then it happened!
The Racism that I was trying to escape from in our politics reared its ugly head into the NBA; a place that I love, because people of all kinds travel together, eat together, sleep together, pray together and play together without any regard for their ethnic or racial backgrounds.
But the owner of the L.A. Clippers Donald Sterling allegedly was recorded sharing his true feelings about the Black Men who have made him billions with the hard work that they do on and off the court.

Now since I was in such a good mood because it’s playoff time, I was willing to give Donald the benefit of the doubt and wait to find out if TMZ or someone else with a grudge was trying to frame this man as some kind of act of vengeance.
However, after learning of his past history, lawsuits, derogatory statements about Black People as well as other minorities in his daily orbit; I pretty much have determined that the tape is real and that this is indeed Mr. Sterling’s voice on the tape telling his African American/Mexican Girlfriend how he really feels about all of those well-built and professionally trained athletes who make him billions.
And I was really upset when I found out that Former Commissioner David Stern was aware and allowed and ignored his Racist’s attitudes, behaviors and actions, which makes me wonder what he truly believe in his core.
So let this be a lesson to those of you who continue to turn a blind eye to what has been painfully apparent in this country, that has been intensified since the election of the First African American President in 2008 and then again in 2012.
This generation cannot and will not be allowed to make pretend that Racism in America no longer exist as an excuse not to defend this country against it.
Those who came before us had no such luxury.
We cannot let all of their pain, suffering, sacrifice and deaths on our behalf, be in vain.
Racism is alive and well and flourishing in America and will rip our country to shreds if we continue to act like it is not a reality.
One final point: I am mad as hell about this Racists Bastard’s Behavior towards his employees who are Human Beings, and also his abuse and dehumanization of other minorities, but I ask that all NBA Fans, (particularly Clippers Fans), remember to focus their anger on the perpetrator, (Donald Sterling), as opposed to the victims, (The Clipper’s Players).
Don’t do anything to hurt the players, coaches and other employees who have done nothing wrong.
To the players, this is your best season in franchise history.
Please put your head back in the game tonight and fight for your chance at the championship.
I understand the negative effect that this Racism is having on your psyche, but you’ve done nothing wrong.
Play your best game and let the hatred of Donald Sterling destroy Donald Sterling.
After all, the job of hate is to destroy, and those who harbor it within will be destroyed from within, which will manifest itself in the destruction of their lives externally.
As a matter of fact, it has already began.
Everything that Commissioner, Adam Silver has done and plans to do to Donald Sterling is was well deserved.
