He is obviously trying to not answer any questions that are controversial like his opinions on abortion rights and the questions that show his true intentions of protecting the Orange Criminal that currently resides in the White House.

He was chosen by the Federalist Society, (at the direction of Trump), which is a legal organization that is not interested in putting forth laws that support and protect society as a whole-only those who practice and follow their conservative principals who are rich and powerful. The majority of the country does not share, and will not benefit from his nomination.
