MSNBC Is Leaning Right Instead Of Leaning Forward

When I first heard that Comcast had got its hands on NBC, (being somewhat aware of the Politics of the leadership of Comcast), I began to worry about changes to the network, (especially MSNBC),that would force this network to the Right; and it is beginning to look as if my fears are being validated.

Recently I read an article that said MSNBC is removing their slogan "Lean Forward" and replacing it with a logo that says in all caps LIVE, MSNBC.

Prior to this change, which seems to indicate to the world that MSNBC does not want to promote Progressive Politics any more, I watched as Karen Finny's show, "Disrupt" cancelled, a few weeks after it had started.

Next to be cut was Ronnan Farrows's show and Joy Reid's show, which were both cancelled on the same day.

And, about 3 weeks ago, I watched MSNBC as they cancelled 3 Progressive Political Shows all on the same day: Alex Wagner, "Now With", "The Cycle" and "The Ed Show"

Now I am wondering if Al Sharpton, "Politics Nation", Chris Matthews, "Hardball", Chris Hayes, "All In", Rachel Maddow, "The Rachel Maddow Show", Lawrence O'Donnell, "The Last Word", Steve Kornacki "Up With" and Melisa Harris-Perry, "The Melisa Harris Perry Show"are all in danger now?

These show are all rich in Liberal Political Commentary.

So I certainly hope not.

A few weeks ago when Laurence O'Donnell called Joe Scarborough a lie, because he was lying; stating facts that were not true to try and destroy the agreement between the U.S. and other nations with Iran, a chill ran up and down my spine, and I was really quite surprised that "The Last Word" was on the air that night.

Of course O'Donnell apologized on his own free will as he stated, but I don't believe that. Because I have seen far too many times when one of the commentators has told the truth about the Right Wing Hate Machine and they were forced to apologize for telling the truth.

Its like they are trying to protect everything Right, while not defending the people on the left who they are supposed to be on the air for.

I understand that MSNBC is a business that has to compete with CNN and FOX News; but I am just wondering if the only way to compete with them is to change the entire station from a Progressive Politics Information Resource into a FOX News Hybrid.

Morning Joe

Morning Joe's rating have also been in the pits for quite some time, but you do not hear any talk, or detect any actions on the part or station ownership to take his show off.

That's why I say it may be business, but their seems to be an attempt to make a major shift to the Right. So it seems to be ideology too. And the sign that this is true will be when you continue to see the Progressive Commentators disappear from MSNBC, while the Peripheral Vision-less Right Wing Congressman continues with his show in spite of his poor ratings.

Another factor for MSNBC's poor ratings is the fact that they eat their own. When one of their own says something negative that is very true about the Right Wing Hate Machine in America, they suspend or fire them, while they allow FOX News and other Right Wing Media Outlets to Bash our Progressive Viewpoints without any retaliation from the FOX News Organization or from MSNBC.

To "True Leftists, Progressives and Liberals", this is unacceptable behavior from a Media Outlet that is supposed to support and protect Progressive Views.

So even the people who they are supposed to represent are getting sick and tired of them attacking their own.

It happened to keith Olbermann, (at Morning Joe's urging), Martin Bashir, for speaking the truth about Sarah Palin , Ed Schultz for speaking the truth about every damn thing, and others, and apparently there's more to come.

So to all who know the Disastrous Effects that losing this Progressive Media Outlet will have on the Progressive Movement in America; (both Average American Citizens and those who are Rich and Powerful who share Progressive Beliefs and Values). Can we please get together and start planning on either saving MSNBC or replacing it with an outlet that truly represents the Progressive Movement in America? Because, Mr. Griffin, we don't need another FOX News. And to lose one of the Strongest Progressive Television Resources in the country would spell disaster for the Progressive Movement in America, (which is just what Hate Filled Conservatives want).

I hope that Mr. Griffin will Brain Storm with the brilliant minds that he has access to at MSNBC; to figure something else out to boost ratings, and make this station number one without turning MSNBC into FOX News Lite or CNN.

If he doesn't, that will be Proof Positive that they are Right Wing Supporters in disguise who are trying to destroy the Progressive Movement in America.

We need to plan together for what appears to be inevitable.
