Donate Now So We Can Fight Back. Please!

I watched the dangerous and destructive lies told last night by members of the Republican Party who have but one agenda: Write the First African American President out of history by any means necessary. These lies will be blasted across TV Screens everywhere because of the Racist Millionares and Billionares such as the Koch Brothers, Carl Rove, Donald Trump and Sheldon Adelson, who share this vision for America and are more than willing to write big checks to destroy Barack Obama's Presidency. Please don't let this happen-Donate now so we can fight back. Please! I just gave to Support President Obama's Agenda. To see details and contribute now please go to: Thank you, G.R.C.

Eloquent Lies

Just as I predicted-The second night of the RNC was the same as the first one, only with more bolder and daring lies. It took a lot for me to sit through an entire night of lies, racial slurs, and ignorance of well-known historical, personal and political facts, and other sometimes humorous factual exclusions. But none the less, I wanted to give them a chance to do something different and to speak to all of America, not just the 40% or so of the Racists, and a handful of House Slaves who have no memory of, or empathy for, how hard things really were when they were in the field. By the way, if you disagree with the Republican Administration’s agenda, you need to vote. 40% is just far too close to call, especially with the new Voter’s Rights Violations that they are imposing in certain states against College Students, Young People, Senior Citizens, African Americans and other Minorities; you know, everybody who voted for Senator Obama in 2008. They are trying to steal and buy the election. The theme of last night’s fiasco was “We can change it,” which I believe is them borrowing from the 2008 Obama Message of “Change”. However, because of their obsession with winning, (no matter the costs to this country and the majority of its citizens), they would not even acknowledge just one positive change, (of the many), that the Obama Administration has accomplished in its first term. Oh yea! And as far as that change thing goes, I don’t know how “Conservatives”, who are adamantly opposed to “Change”, can part their lips to imply that this is what they are all about. And as far as them calling themselves “Reformers”-How in the hell can you reform something by returning to what was a serious problem in the first place. What they need to call themselves is Re-Reformers: Return to Racism, Sexism, Hatred of the Poor, Hatred of Immigrants, (although they are all immigrants), themselves, and other such idiotic and hateful behavior. I don’t know about you, but I remember all of this backward thinking, and I know the damage that it caused to everyone who they view as “Other”. I experienced it with Ronald Reagan, who they use as a reference point and a beacon of light for the Republican Party, Ronald Reagan who was still a Racists, did manage to show us that he was human during his presidency. But these “New Idiots” are very dangerous for this country. And I lived through it with “Tricky Dick Nixon”, who sold James Brown a load of shit that led him to endorse him. And once he did that and lost much of his fan base, then Richard Nixon reneged on his promises to implement policies that would benefit the African American Community. This Separatism, Racism, Prejudice, Selfishness, Hatred and Propensity towards Half Truths and No Truths are traditional tactics for the Republican Party. And judging from the things that I have heard over the last 4 years has confirmed the fact that nothing has or will ever change with them. Please reelect President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, before or on November, 6, 2012. Thank you, G.R.C.

Just The Facts Man!

RYAN: Obama "created a bipartisan debt commission. They came back with an urgent report. He thanked them, sent them on their way and then did exactly nothing." THE FACTS: It's true that Obama hasn't heeded his commission's recommendations, but Ryan's not the best one to complain. He was a member of the commission and voted against its final report. RYAN: "And the biggest, coldest power play of all in Obamacare came at the expense of the elderly. ... So they just took it all away from Medicare. Seven hundred and sixteen billion dollars, funneled out of Medicare by President Obama." THE FACTS: Ryan's claim ignores the fact that Ryan himself incorporated the same cuts into budgets he steered through the House in the past two years as chairman of its Budget Committee, using the money for deficit reduction. The cuts, used in part to expand health insurance to more people, do not affect Medicare recipients directly but ultimately could by cutting into the profits of hospitals, health insurance plans and other service providers. Even so, the cuts are part of an overhaul that extends the solvency of Medicare's giant trust fund by eight years. RYAN: "The stimulus was a case of political patronage, corporate welfare and cronyism at their worst. You, the working men and women of this country, were cut out of the deal." THE FACTS: Ryan himself asked for stimulus money shortly after Congress approved the $800 billion plan, known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Ryan's pleas to federal agencies included letters to Energy Secretary Steven Chu and Labor Secretary Hilda Solis seeking stimulus grant money for two Wisconsin energy conservation companies. One of them, the nonprofit Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corp., received $20.3 million from the Energy Department to help homes and businesses improve energy efficiency, according to federal records. That company, he said in his letter, would build "sustainable demand for green jobs." Another eventual recipient, the Energy Center of Wisconsin, received about $365,000. RYAN: Said Obama misled people in Ryan's hometown of Janesville, Wis., by making them think a General Motors plant there threatened with closure could be saved. "A lot of guys I went to high school with worked at that GM plant. Right there at that plant, candidate Obama said: `I believe that if our government is there to support you ... this plant will be here for another hundred years.' That's what he said in 2008. Well, as it turned out, that plant didn't last another year." THE FACTS: Although Obama did not explicitly promise to save the plant, Ryan is right that Obama implied that he had the backs of its workers when he spoke at the factory early in 2008 and issued a statement about its closure later. The plant halted production in December 2008, weeks before Obama took office and well before he enacted a more robust auto industry bailout that rescued GM and Chrysler and allowed the majority of their plants — though not the Janesville facility — to stay in operation. Ryan himself voted for an auto bailout under President George W. Bush that was designed to help GM, but he was a vocal critic of the one pushed through by Obama that has been widely credited with revitalizing both GM and Chrysler. If we as Democrats continue to allow them to get away with these lies, we deserve to lose.

Who Was speaking At The RNC Last Night?

If you could care less about all this information, please at least read the summary at the end. You will see that there is really no need to look for positive change at this convention or at the end of it. Their agenda is always the same: Keep people who are trying to have something in life from having it in any way they can; while continuing to celebrate and brag about what they have accomplished, while ignoring the government assistance that they used for themselves and their families to get where they are. The people who were speaking at the RNC last night are no different than the people who will speak tonight, tomorrow night, and for the rest of the life of the Republican Party, which I hope will be short lived. M Ludmya "Mia" Bourdeau Love (born 1975) is the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah, and the Republican Party 2012 nominee in Utah's 4th congressional district. She will face six-term incumbent Democratic Representative Jim Matheson for the seat in November 2012. See the ethnic name? Both of her parents immigrated from Haiti in 1973. You see, if these ethnic people would use an ethnic name, then they would be hated just as much as Barack Hussein Obama. Majority Leader John Boehner John Andrew Boehner is the 61st and current Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, he is the U.S. Representative from Ohio's 8th congressional district, serving since 1991 R Priebus was born Reinhold Reince Priebus in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Dimitra and Roula Priebus, a former union electrician who works in real estate.[2][3] He is of German and Greek descent.[4] He became politically engaged at age 16, volunteering for several campaigns throughout high school.[5] After graduating from high school, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he majored in English and political science. He graduated cum laude in 1994, and prior to that had been elected to serve as student body president.[3] NC Chairman Reince Priebus New Jersey Governor Chris Christie Christopher James "Chris" Christie (born September 6, 1962) is the 55th and current Governor of New Jersey. Upon his election to the governorship in November 2009, Christie became the first Republican to win a statewide election in New Jersey in 12 years. Christie, an attorney, previously served as United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey and as a Morris County, New Jersey Freeholder. In 2011, he considered entering the race for the Republican Presidential nomination but ultimately decided not to run for the job. Christie delivered the keynote address at the 2012 Republican National Convention Senator, Rand Paul Randal Howard "Rand" Paul is the junior United States Senator for Kentucky. He is a member of the Republican Party. A member of the Tea Party movement, he describes himself as a "constitutional conservative" and a libertarian. During the primary he proclaimed his distaste for the Civil Right Legislation that allowed people of color to satisfy their human need for eating at any public restaurant that they choose. He believes that restaurant owners should not have to feed anyone that they do not want to feed. Gov. Nikki Haley Nimrata Nikki Randhawa Haley (born January 20, 1972), an American politician, is the 116th and current Governor of South Carolina. A member of the Republican Party, Haley represented Lexington County in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2005 to 2010. In the 2010 South Carolina gubernatorial election, Haley was endorsed for the Republican nomination by former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and the Tea Party movement. "with all due respect, (President Obama) don't tell me that my parents didn't build their business." Just as scripted. A quote taken out of context from an election speech by President Obama has become one of Romney campaign's leading rallying cries: "We built it."Obama's original point was that those who have built successful businesses did so with the infrastructure – such as roads - created by the government. But the portion from the speech that said they didn't do it on their own is being used by the Republicans to fire up their base. "We built it," said a large sign on a canvass fence around the convention floor. See her name? Nimrata Nikki Randhawa Haley It’s Indian, but Ethnic Republicans who have Ethnic Names don’t use their names because they do not sound “White American” enough. So they just call her Nikki. Cathy McMorris Rodgers Cathy McMorris Rodgers was born in Salem, Oregon on May 22, 1969 and raised on a farm. She worked in the family owned and operated business, the Peachcrest Fruit Basket Orchard and Fruit Stand, in Kettle Falls, Washington for 13 years.[6] She is the descendant of pioneers who traveled the Oregon Trail in the early 1850s to the Pacific Northwest where her father's family pursued agriculture and her mother's family worked in the forestry industry. (Sep 2008) Voted NO on defining "energy emergency" on federal gas prices. (Jun 2008) Voted NO on revitalizing severely distressed public housing. (Jan 2008) Voted NO on regulating the subprime mortgage industry. (Nov 2007) Balanced Budget Amendment with 3/5 vote to override. (Jan 2009) Demand a Balanced Budget amendment. (Jul 2010) Limit federal spending growth to per-capita inflation rate. (Jul 2010) Rep. Artur Davis Artur Genestre Davis (born October 9, 1967) is an American politician and attorney who changed his party affiliation from the Democratic to the Republican Party in 2012. Davis served in the United States House of Representatives representing Alabama's 7th congressional district from 2003 to 2011. He was also a candidate for governor of Alabama in the 2010 Democratic Gubernatorial Primary. In 2009 and 2010 Davis voted against the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus to do so. US Senate candidate Ted Cruz Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz (born December 22, 1970) is an American politician who was Solicitor General of the U.S. state of Texas from 2003 to May 2008. Cruz was appointed by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott. He was the first Hispanic Solicitor General in Texas, the youngest Solicitor General in the United States, and had the longest tenure in the post thus far in Texas history. He is currently a partner at the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, where he leads the firm’s U.S. Supreme Court and national appellate litigation practice.[1] Cruz won the 2012 Republican nomination for the United States Senate seat being vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison.[2] He defeated Lt. Governor David Dewhurst in the Republican primary runoff by 57% to 43% on July 31, 2012. Mr. Cruz certainly had the full force of the tea party movement supporting him with cash, social media, and people power. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum campaigned for him. Ann Lois Romney Ann Lois Romney (née Davies; born April 16, 1949) is the wife of American businessman and politician Mitt Romney, who is the Republican nominee in the 2012 U.S. presidential election. From 2003 to 2007 she was First Lady of Massachusetts while her husband served as governor of the state. She was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and attended the private Kingswood School there, where she dated Mitt Romney. She converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1966. She attended Brigham Young University (BYU), married Mitt Romney, and in 1975 she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. Listen, I am glad that Ann loves her husband and her children and that Mitt loves them and his Mama. I have it on good authority that Michelle Obama loves her husband and children as well, and I truly believe that they both love their mothers and that the Obama Girls love their parents. That’s all well and good. However, last night it seemed as if the speakers were all just blowing smoke, stoking anger and partisanship and lying about, and criticizing the legitimate Executive Decisions that President Obama has had to make under some very difficult and challenging circumstances, including the intentional failure of them, (The Republicans), to work with him to save this country from ruin, due to their obsessive racial hatred towards this man. Believe me! This is not what we need to solve our problems. And if the true meaning of “Conservative” prevails, we are in for a lot more of the same for the rest of the week. And at the end of this convention, what we will still be left with is: People still just blowing smoke, stoking anger and partisanship and lying about, and criticizing the Legitimate Executive Decisions that President Obama has had to make under some very difficult and challenging circumstances, including the intentional failure of them, (The Republicans), to work with him to save this country from ruin, due to their obsessive racial hatred towards this man. We Built This????

In response to the president’s factual statements that indicated that no one does anything of great significance in this country without the help of others; they have decided to use the “We Built This” Theme as the main theme of their RNC, (Racists Needing Comfort) Convention in Tampa Florida. However in typical GOP Fashion, (Great On Prejudice), these hypocritical bastards do not want to acknowledge the fact that even if they do own a business, chances are, they got subsidies from the federal government, (Corporate Welfare), or that they are transporting their raw materials and or finished products using the public highways and other public resources which we as citizens finance through our taxes. I say all of that to say this: As a prime example of their hypocrisy and lies, according to their 2012 RNC Convention Theme, even the building that they are holding their convention in was not totally built by them. A large portion of the cost of construction for the Tampa Bay Forum was financed with Public, (government funding). $86 million or 62 percent of the total money needed to finance the construction of the stadium came from taxpayer money. However, these are the types of things they would rather you not know, because the less you know, the easier it is to deceive you into believing that they really hate the things that they claim to hate: Social Security, Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Pell Grants, Student Loans, etc. Here’s the truth! They hate all of these things for everyone else But they love all of these government benefits and more, when they are the ones receiving them. Oh the hypocrisy! If you are not registered to vote, please get registered ASAP. If you are registered, please get out and vote this November for Democracy by voting for Barack Obama. And also, please vote in your local elections and don’t just wait for the big ones, because the failure of so many of us to vote in the local elections in 2012 caused us to lose the house, and it is the main reason now why so many people who have been voting all of their lives are having that right taken away over voter ID’s that were never required before President Obama became the 44th. Tuesday, August 21, 2012

On Sunday, August 19, 2012, Missouri, REPUBLICAN, Senate candidate, Todd Akin threw science, logic and humanity out the window during an interview in which he stated that “Legitimate Rape”, rarely leads to pregnancy. He is one of many Republican “Right to Lifers” who believe that if a woman is raped by her father or another male family member, a criminal, a date or anyone else; abortion is not an option. Many of these people oppose abortion even if a woman’s life is endangered by a pregnancy that could possibly cause the woman to die. So I guess a woman who might die because of her pregnancy does not have a “Right to Life”. Hugh? What sane human being would voluntarily kill an unborn child for no reason? Not anyone that I know or associate with. But in this world of ours which can sometimes be a very cold, ugly and heartless place, sometimes drastic situations occur that sometimes require drastic measures. Abortion like murder is one of them. Now do you remember the false outrage that occurred last week as a result of Joe Biden’s “Chains” Comment? Well! Here we go again. All of a sudden, the very same people who have been fighting against a woman’s right to choose, birth control, a woman’s right to be a single parent, a woman’s right to earn the same amount of money as a man for the same work, and those who advocate for birth control by putting an aspirin between the knees, calling woman who want birth control to remain a part of their healthcare a “Slut” and those attempting forced rape by means of mandatory Vaginal Probes before a woman can be granted permission to have an abortion and so many other inhumane, selfish idiotic antiquated and prehistoric ideas that demonstrate a desire to control woman, as opposed to loving and protecting them are now pretending to be outraged by the comments made by Todd Akin. People like Mitt Romney who said of Rush Limbaugh’s comment referring to Sandra Fluke as a “Slut” that he would have used other words to describe her-Not that what Limbaugh said was wrong, but that he would have called her something else negative other than “Slut”. And his VP Running Mate Paul Ryan, (has passed so much Anti Woman Legislation as a senator), that it amazes me that any woman in her right mind, would agree to be his wife. In 2010 the Republicans fooled their constituents by promising that they were going to work on nothing but “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Instead; in the Republican House, the first order of business was to open up a class session to read something that all of them were already supposed to be familiar with-The Constitution. After all they had to swear to protect it against all enemies foreign and domestic, in order to accept the job. So instead of “ jobs, jobs, jobs”, this exercise in futility set the tone and the pace for all of the foolish non productivity that has taken place for the past 3-1/2 years. This includes over 96 bills sponsored by Republicans that were designed to take away the many rights of woman that so many people have suffered, fought and died for; in addition to the rights of certain groups of people to even participate in our Democracy by denying them the right to even vote. And they are always in lock step with each other, (which is something that the Democrats need to learn from them). So everything that I just mentioned about the things that they have been doing for the past 3-1/2 years has been almost 100% supported by each and every individual who now, (because they see their political lives flashing before their eyes), are trying to act like they are not just as ridiculous, if not more so, than the dumb ass statements that Akin made about woman’s bodies knowing how to not get pregnant if they are “Raped Legitimately”. As a matter of fact, Paul Ryan has sponsored bills to define an embryo that does not even have a heart beat yet as a person; in his quest to force his religious beliefs on every woman in the entire country. He also has sponsored bills along with other Republicans that seek to redefine rape in order to decriminalize the act of rape by making only “Forcible Rape” a crime. Correct me if I’m wrong, but as far back as I can remember, I have always been taught that all rape is forced and should be something that I as a human being and a man, should never do to a woman. Don’t be fooled! These hypocrites are not attacking Akin because they have had a change of heart, seen the light, or recognized the error of their ways, They don’t do anything to help anyone else. Remember, they are all “Individualist” who only do what is necessary for them to survive and prosper. They are attacking Akin because their “Great White Hopes”, Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are deeply connected to these same kinds of beliefs and practices, (as is the entire Republican Party). And the paper trails of their legislative practices can be easily traced and proven. They are attacking Akin because he was stupid enough, (as so many Republicans have been before him), to slip up and say the things that the others are actually thinking. And he said it without the usual “Hocus Pocus” that Republicans use to deceive and sway the Racist, Sexist, Classists idiots who follow them. Akin is a scapegoat. The only reason that we are currently witnessing another episode of false outrage from Republicans is simply because; they cannot win without the female vote. And now, just like John McCain insulted the intelligence of woman in 2008 by trying to pass Sarah Palin off as a Republican Version of Hillary Clinton; So too, are they now trying to pass themselves off as a political party that wants progress and forward movement for everyone, including woman. Don’t be fooled by this. Just look up the legislation that they have passed or attempted to pass over the last 3-1/2 years, and then vote accordingly this November. http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/updates/2011/statetrends12011.html Source: The Guttmacher Institute If you are not a “White Male” who is rich and or powerful, or a Black Male who has sold out and drank their poison Kool-Aid, then your best interests are not and will never be a major concern for them. Pay Close Attention Woman!

Joe Biden Tells The Truth On Tuesday, 08/14/2012

"Gonna Put Y' all Back In Chains" This past Tuesday, Vice President, Joe Biden was in Virginia speaking to an audience of mostly African Americans. His statements about the GOP putting people back in chains caused so much false outrage from a political party that has preached nothing but hatred, division, racism and lies since President Obama was (Legally Elected) in 2008, that if it was not so volatile and dangerous, it would actually be quite humorous. The GOP has, (with impunity), dehumanized poor people, sick people, immigrants, woman, gay soldiers and anybody else in America who does not fit their very restrictive definition of what "True Americans" are. Not only have they attacked certain groups of American Citizens; but they have also been on Constant Racist's Attacks against The Most Powerful Office In The World: The Presidency of the United States of America. Never before in the history of our country, have we witnessed such disrespect, hatred and disregard for the office of president. And it causes one to ask the question "Why?" What events corresponded with these drastic changes in the way that certain groups of ignorant, hateful and unread groups view the office of the president of the United States? I'm guessing that this blog will not reach the politically inactive, uninformed or apathetic, so I won't even answer that question, because if you are reading this, you already know the answer. One thing that I know about racism and the racists who practice it is the fact that; (in most cases), they are not very open about their true feelings about the people they hate. They always sugar coat the truth with euphemisms and lies to take attention away from what really goes on inside them. And when challenged by the truth, they become outraged, (either genuine or phony), like the latest outrage from The Romney Campaign. So here's the truth: keeping in mind that there are exceptions to every rule, even in a group of people who have historically hated people who are different then they are, you will find some people, (not very many), who do not want to be a part of such irrational, illogical and hateful behavior. The truth is the Republican Party as a whole, would like nothing more than seeing Black People, Woman, Sick People, Poor People, Immigrants, Gay People and all others who are not Rich, Powerful or Compliant with their Principals, Views or their Hateful Actions in chains, at the very least, and none existent on the face of the earth at the extreme. So I know what you’re saying at this point: Well! "There are quite a few Black Republicans also". Right? Let me explain, and then I'm out. The White Republicans all want to return to the times when they were Slave Masters-And the Black Republicans all want to return to the times when they were Slaves. So you see! They complement each other; and that it why they are together. But I thank GOD for the fact that there are not many Black People who want to go back to that-only a few idiots. This is why you will never see more than 1 or 2 standing behind these Racist's at a campaign rally. I don't want to be put back in chains. How about you? If you don't want to be put back in chains or you want to discourage the efforts of those who want you to be in chains, vote for Obama/Biden this November, so that we as a nation with all kinds of people can keep moving forward and not backwards. Thank you Joe Biden for speaking a truth in one context that can definitely apply in another. G.R.C.
I have never seen Mitt Romney so natural and comfortable with so many black faces behind him. On August 14, 2012, Mitt Romney spoke to a group of White Coal Miners in PA. LOL.
